Milk of Amnesia Candle
Milk of Amnesia Candle
Smooth, creamy, relaxing. How else would you describe the medication behind the best nap of your life? Just close your eyes, inhale the oxygen, and count to 10.
Propofol is a milky-looking white medication that is given intravenously for sedation and analgesia. For this reason, some healthcare professionals jokingly refer to it as "milk of amnesia" as a play on words as it relates to a different medication (milk of magnesia...but we won't go there). Milky, white, creamy; all words that can also describe a sweet vanilla milkshake which is where the idea for this candle originated.
Notes of vanilla bean, buttercream, and sugar.
This candle is an especially great gift for nurses and other healthcare professionals who work in: anesthesia, radiology, emergency, critical care, surgery, PACU.
